Just install it like the stock AST, it fits in the same way. They are essentially identical, only the Pettit one has a different shape. My main recommendation is take out the battery to do it, makes it a lot easier.

Found this when searching and need to bring it up again. I will be installing my Pettit AST and was wondering if it simple, plus, do I need to drain coolant? Or only what is in the AST?

It's simple. You don't need to drain the coolant, but whatever's in the AST will come pouring. Also, one of the hoses will want to keep dribbling if you let it get lower than it's entry point.

Thank you very much Hyperite!!! I figured so, but just wanted to make sure so that there were no surprises.
