Ok. MY car wouldnt start due to a flooded engine. I just had installed a microtech LT-8 and calibrated the TPS. The car still wouldnt start. I tried everything in the book to unflood it (pulling plugs, putting in some atf, cleaning plugs turning engine, pulling egi fuse and sticking it back in, pulling fuel pump relay, etc etc etc you name it) the car still wouldnt start.
I installed the factory ecu back into the car, started right up (fuel pump relay switch was out) and left it idling for about a minute. It was idling like a charm cept a lil high because i messed with the tps before. Stupid me i shut the car off and then it wouldnt start again. For a while it would start for about 2-3 seconds then die out. I did the same routine like pulling fuel pump relay, turning engine, putting the relay back in etc etc. Eventually the car stopped trying to start and it would just turn over and over and here i am stressing because theres nothing else left to do.
**Things to consider** Earlier in the day I had my gas cap off and was trying to start it. Put the cap back in and let the car sit for about 6-7 hours which is when the car started up (when there was pressure in the fuel system) AFTER the car started and got stumbled with no starting i released all the pressure by removing the cap. I put the cap back in and tried starting it so theres pressure building over night. I will be trying steps 1-9999 again tomorrow.
So remember, the car started perfectly when i put the factory ecu back in. I cleared codes. And all i've messed with since the car started was the egi fuse, fuel pump relay, and the fuel cap. Yes this one is very complicated. Mahjik.... Rynberg..... Any help is appreciated.

just wondering..
u sure ur base maps for LT-8 are all set up properly?
i mean if u swapped ecu's and it started immediately... isn't that a hint that there is something astray with the microtech?
