Need carburator help

Hi a little history on the car and problem, the car is a 1973 Rx2 with a 84 12a motor, street port, RB intake and RB exhaust, Brand NEW Holley 600, MSD coils, FPR at 3.5 lbs the car starts on the 1st try runs great fuel consumption is good the only issue is that the car will not idle under 2k and when I turn the car off it lets out a loud bang like a back fire. can someone please help on this.

I'm guessing no one knows about carburetors anymore......

well your fuel pressure should be at 7-9 psi
