I know someone selling his silver R2 I haven't seen the car yet but I spoke to him over the phone.

car has about 60,000 miles on it.
it just had an engine and turbo rebuild by a reputable shop. also has a new clutch and flywheel.
it's all stock except for a greddy cat back.
assuming the car is in good shape what would the car be worth and what would you pay? asking price is 16,000 obo

is it 94 or 95, if 95 definity a great deal and if a 94 and in good shape go for it, I bought my 93 BB Touring 2 years ago and it had a few dings and scrath marks nothing a body shop couldn't fix and it had 55K on it and I paid 13,500 I also found a 93 Silver Touring here with 45K and they wanted 14,500 but i really wasn't into the red leather beside it was completely stock mine already had some stuff done to it.

 

it's a 94. only thing that bothers me is the no sunroof thing. I'm a sunroof guy, maybe i can learn to live without it. anyway thx for the reply.

 

I wish i got a R1 instead of the Touring since I'm just moding it up. I like the look of the R1 roof more since its more rounded than tourings, the touring roof has to be more flat on top so the sunroof can open, also adds more weight lol

 

good point I never noticed that rounded or flatened roof
thing going on. I'm inching closer to the R2 already.

 

Also if you wanted to get to the nity grity look to see how many 94 Silver R2's where brought over here I don't think that many ask around to find out
