NA swap into a T2 chassis...?

so i know this is a down grade but at the moment i dont care, i just would like my car to run and move again. so ive come across a NA engine, harness, ecu for a great price. i have a 87 T2 with blown engine. the NA is a 87 NA... if i have ecu and harness... how hard is this swap? i couldnt imagine it would be hard to go backwards rather then forwards... any legit advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

As they are the same series engines, not that bad of a swap.

Be sure to get an NA throttle cable and you will have to retain your T2 flywheel and clutch to transplant to the NA so that it can be used with the T2 tranny.

^^^ The drivers side underhood harness (coils, alternator, battery) is the same.

The under dash harness will plug right into your NA ECU.
