NA fc wont start. Flooded?
Went for a drive yesterday in my na 86 fc, drove it a little hard i have to say, but not that bad. Came home and tofay it wouldnt start. I tried pulling out the fuse like when its flooded, and it started immediately and died out a few second later. I put the fuse back but it wouldnt start again. Now im afraid that it isnt just flooded... it has 180k kilometers, and just got oil change for 10w30 castrol gtx, as somebody recommended in here... can somebody tell me if i should worry, or if its gonna be okay... it has also been very cold...
You should be fine my fc always floods. Although you probably are pulling the wrong fuse if it started with it out. Do what the post above says and you should fire right back up.
Note: mines probably flooded 30+ times cuz it has 190k miles among other issues and the fuse trick has always worked for me (knock on wood)

have you checked your plugs they could be badly fouled.
if wat they said fails,
pull the plugs and clean them.
disconnect and crimp the fuel line.
and crank the motor for a little bit to clear all the fuel out.
put it all back together and it should fire up.
but that's a lot of mucking around, I would try what they^^^ recommended first.

My way of deflooding:
take the EGI Fuse out( engine bay fuse block) take the spark plugs out and roll the engine over about 20 seconds.
are the plugs WET or saturated with fuel..clean them off.Thoroughly.
put about 2 Tablespoons of oil in one of the spark plug holes and roll engine over about 2-3 seconds.
Put the plugs back in and the EGI fuse back in and see if it starts up..NO foot on pedal.

my uncles s4 n/a auto had a kill switch wired in for the fuel pump. the previous owner must of had trouble with it flooding.
came in handy for de flooding once, just flick a switch, pull and clean some plugs, crank it over a bit and it fired right back up.
