This is my favorite thread going right now. I hope it works out for you, maybe then I'll be brave enough to get a junker engine and rebuild/port it. RocknRoll, hombre

well, here go the fruits of my labor. i finished the rough cuts on the exhausts 2 weeks ago so i'm posting some pics. this is taking so long to complete, but i have a rejuvenated excitement with every hurdle i pass.

all i need to do now is to block those passages, polish the ports and bevel the edges. i can do that the next time i get to go home. with any luck (and some influx of cash, this motor should be assembled by Spring 2006 - keeping my fingers crossed.

this should be it for the pics. i do plan to go over the secondary intake ports some more. i 'm not TOO pleased with the shape of the rear one, and i think i want to extend them a little more. so i may post pics of them if i do it. other than that, the next pics should be of the assembled product.

i figure maybe another $300 should get this engine bolted together and, hopefully, keep it very reliable through what should be some FUN times.

thanks for all responses and PMs on my project. i really appreciate it.
