Is my housing good?

I have here a housing ready to be ported and a large gouge was overlooked and found.

Check out the pictures of the gouges on the outer side of the housings face. They are really deep, you can easily catch your fingernail in. I took a razorblade to see if it could catch anything, it was fairly smooth, and the indents just go in.

Is this one housing a yay or a nay? Will the life of my engine be greatly reduced from this?
