i got it about 2 months ago from this guy who got it from another guy and so on he said he couldnt get it started so i got it for free thinking it was a bad connection to the battery welll come to find out the starter had a striped bolt and the starter is bad andthe when i try to push start the car in 2nd gear he tires grab and drag ive tryed the atf and nothing unless i didnt put enough in it so i bought this stuff called tramisson reconditioner and put a alot into the plug holes got out there the next day ad when i tryed to move it in 2nd gear just push it a little bit it moved but then the tires loked up or something and it drug i pushed it for a few feet at first ad there are a few wires taht i dont know wehre they go can anyone help me i love this car and i havent even got to drve it yet please soemone help the engine only has 117000 miles on it and it is really clean so i think it has just sat for a while and it is carbon locked

 

have you checked compression? How about other things related to fuel supply and spark? Just squirting atf is not going to produce miracles if you don't know the exact problem.

 

sorry to say it could be locked up.. but do like seven said and check the fuel/spark/intake.. just about everything before you jump to any conclusions..

 

If the engine is locked up, HOW THE HELL CAN HE DO A COMPRESSION CHECK???

 

Put it in first, and try pushing it backwards, then try the atf trick again.
Spin the engine away from the carbon.
