Mixing old and new apex seals?

I have 3 used als seals that are good and thinking of ordering 3 new apex seals. Would there be an issue?

If you are 100 percent positive that the seals are good and are going to hold up for awhile yet then I see no reason why there would be an issue. If you are unsure then just order 3 more because it'd be a pain in the a$$ to have to tear the engine apart within only a few weeks or months after rebuild for 1 failed apex seal when it could have been prevented by ordering 3 more new ones.

I could always sell the ones I have and get a new set? I've already replaced nearly every single piece so far, might as well. Thanks

would you change brake pads on only one wheel?

the answer is yes you can, if the set of pads on the other side is worn less than 10-20%(80-90% life left). reason being you want near equal wear all around.

measure the old one and see just how old they are. Then decide if you can get by with three new and three "old" ones.

I think I will replace the set and hope to sell the old ones. My decision now is super seals or als, now?
