miata/rotary

hey guys..
i may be coming accross some cash in the next few months to buy a miata. i was wanting to throw a s5 13bt in there. what's the deal on the mounts? do they need to be custom or will the 13b drop right in? if they need custom mounts, do they sell them anywhere already made? how much power will the stock miata rear end hold? well just a few preliminary questions.....
thanks guys,
jack

Can't just throw one in. Requires much work and custom parts. A friend did that swap for his racecar but would never consider doing it for a daily driver. Was a major pain in the ***. You'd be better off just turboing the Miata motor. Its a good motor and like many motors can take some boost with proper tuning. Just make sure the engine is in good shape to start with. No high milage weak engine.

If you do not have a problem with conventional piston enginesI have heard that the 91 mustang 302 is a dead drop in with very few mods. Car and driver did a project car a few years back.
