Making the Hood Open Wider?

No idea what this is supposed to be called officially, but I see a lot of drift kiddos with their hoods so wide open, they're resting on the windshield. Of all the strange things they do, this particular modification actually seems surprisingly functional.

(not the best photo of it, but still)

Any ideas on how to do this with the FC's hood, or any RX7's hood for that matter? Not trying to rice, just sick and tired of the hood in the way when working on clutch hydraulics.

well, when i bought my FC it didn't come with a hood prop/rod, so i had to use an old broom to keep my hood up when taking the engine out and putting the new one in. i never had to remove the hood to do either. now, i never tried to bend it back as far as that photo you posted, but i had it pretty much at 90º.

that said, what are you doing to the clutch hydraulics that require the hood to go further back? i did my master, slave and line with the hood in the stock position.
