Hello,

I recently purchased an '01 FD and gave her it's first service. Only mods are a cat-back exhaust and aftermarket air filters.

* After the service it ran smoother put started "popping" more through the exhaust, is this a problem?
* I just went for a rather large drive, didn't push the car too hard, and now it loses power when I put the foot past half way, basically as if its missing or not getting any fuel through. When I accelerate easier it takes off quite well. Any ideas what the problem could be?
* Last after driving it I notice that the engine "gurggles", is this normal? only noticed it after the service

check the ignition wires. make sure none of they are secure and attached to the right plugs.

 

What exactly did you do for "it's first service"?
