looking for advice

Hi everyone. I've been looking at an 82 rx7 and the seller only wants 800$ for it. The thing is that the last time it ran, his son flooded the engine and they never tried starting it afterwards. That was 3 years ago. Does this seem like it would be a money pit? Or a good starter project. Thanks in advance.

no one can realistically answer your question. you have to make a list for yourself of what the car obviously needs and what it may possibly need and tally that all up for yourself.

we don't know the overall condition of the car and that makes a huge difference. 3 years however does not generally kill the fuel system but it is borderline starting to rot it out at that point.
