leaking intercooler???

Hey guys. Just got back from the metal favricator. They modified the end tanks of my NPR IC. It looks great but when they done welding it they did some leak test. The welder did find a couple of leaks but fixed it right away. My question is, is a small hair size hole a big deal when it comes to intercooler???Will that affect boost???..just some good answers is all i need. Thanx

any leak will be a big problem and will only get worst as the air forces its way through the hole making it larger all the time. plus at idle and cruise you will have a nice vacuum leak in the system. all intercooler piping needs to be air tight at all connections or you will have lots of problems

THanx tims. You are always a help. I doubt there is a leak though. But i still want to double check. I will take it to a radiator shop this weekend while i get my stock radiator recore. I think this is the best time to clean and test my oil coller aswell.
