Lazy starting problem
When im starting my FD it seems like its really slow to start. It fires and actually starts within a normal time period but it will kinda be at like 300 rpm and slowly climb up or sometimes die. When i try to give it some gas it doesnt really help. I do have a problem with one of the injectors stuck open, so is it just running too rich on startup or does it sound like something else?

Im having a similar issue with my FC. My starter is a bit weak and the second time i try to start it, it usually wont start....then i flood the engine.
So i pull the plugs and clean them. But it still starts like crap....after a couple of revs, it cleans up and runs.
The stater feels normal at first but if the car doesnt run and slowly get harder and slower to start the engine....could just be the problem.
Weird? Maybe
Starter? Also maybe
Blown seals that get the plugs wet and make the starter work harder upon start? Maybe once again.

Rotary start issues can be a true annoyance. My old motor with 90k miles would start with half-dead battery and half-*** cranking speed after the first few turn overs.
My brand new motor with RA super seals won't catch unless I spin a rapid RPM. Could be the AEM Unit, seals seating, I donno...but hot starting is rediculous sometimes.
One thing I'v found that ALWAYS helps. Install a fuel cut off switch. If you can't get the car to start after you've tried the first time, cut the fuel off and try again. Clogged injector won't matter at this point as you'll be starting off of residual fuel pressure and it will deflood the motor. Then flip on the switch immediately after the car starts.
Its always odd, but whenever I'v had a fuel pump go bad, or wiring pop to my pump, my car would start up instantly and die moments after from lack of fuel pressure (as the pump wasn't running). This is esentially the same scenario as having the fuel switch turned off. Car would always start much faster then usual with no pump voltage LOL. This tells me that these motors flood very quickly.
