I have a set (3) of irons /plates from a 93 FD , and I was thinking of having them Lapped , instead of finding new or used ones . How much metal can be "lapped" off during this process ?? Who does this process on this board ?? I'm rebuilding , and I'm stuck until I remedy this problem ... HELP !!

 

I called Racing Beat and they will lap side housings for around $62 plus shipping.

 

That's $62/each.
