6 port to a 4 port

What if i make my 2 intake ports into into one big port more like a ported 4 port. I am going turbo and eliminating and secondary stuff. I plan on making manifolds as well so they will all be port matched.

i've seen it done, but it was done to a drag car. IMO, it can also be ran on the street, may just sound like a half-bridge. why won't u give it a shot for us?

well i plan on it as long as someone didnt have a very good reason not too. I pulled my motor and am doing pretty extensive mods to all the ports. I plan on taking a lot of pics. Thanks the constructive feedback.

I just got my engine rebuilt and ported by Rotary Resurrection. I had him port my engine like this. It is streetable. . kinda. It's a bit rough and likes to surge a bit but i imagine once i am able to open her up it will all be worth it. It makes decent power down low that's not the problem. the only streetablility issue is the way it loads up. It likes to be under load or it's not that happy. Sounds pretty badass though. I love it thus far. i can't wait till the break in period is over so i can really open this thing up!

sounds great! I can always put it at a high idle. I think i can get around idling problems with fuel pressure if necessary.

a friend of mine did it to his FC3S many years ago because there were no off-the-shelf 6-port Holley manifolds yet. the car was a ******* animal! it idled just fine. it pulled like HELL and it retained street manners in traffic.
