Know any rotary techs in DC area?

Anyone know any reliable rotary techs in the DC, Northern VA, MD area that do side jobs that work out of their home or small shop? Looking for someone skilled that I can work with to maintain and rebuild engine of my '92. I'm new to this area and I am quickly realizing the difference in cost going to a shop here compared to where I was. Everything in the DC area is ridiculously overpriced and the shops I have gone to so far aren't trustworthy. It seems that the name of the game is to do a temporary patch job so that the customer has to come back to the shop in a week or two so that they can hit you up for more money. I have been to shops where I had to go back 3x to fix the same problem and every time I went back they charged me for it. Thanks in advance.

there is a backyard garage somewhere in Falls Church........, maybe if you hang around Katie's Cars and coffee in Mclean, meet some other people with rx7's and then go from there. The other fc guys know whatsup.

For engine rebuilding I highly recommend IR Performance in NJ. Angel Motors port in Va beach is another option but I have no experience with them.
