My friend told me that if you leave your hand on the shifter of any manual car while you drive the preassure screws up your transmission. I think this is total crap but if anyone knows shout it out.

 

Yep. i believe thats total crap.

 

actually, its not total crap. If u were to see a running tranny openned, u would see the ring gears moving. By you resting your hand on the shifter, u would move the gear just about a hairline off and believe me, that little bit does hurt which will later on cause slipping not at the clutch but the trans.
