Keeping it Quiet

Hey guys,
I just built a S4 13b and swapped it into my 1990 B-2200 pickup. The motor is ported using pineapples 6 port template, and first stage exhaust templates. I am also running the racing beat holly carb and manifold, lastly the racing beat header and presilencer. After this was all installed I started building the rest of my exhaust. Running 2 1/2" pipe and two Magnaflow 4"dia Magnapack mufflers. All installed and I am still way to loud to drive with out fear of getting popped everywhere. I was told others, more informed then me, not to run baffled mufflers. I would love to have a semi quiet truck in order to sleep on some mustang’s driving around my town. Would any one know what I can add to my exhaust system to quiet it, with out completely killing my proformance? I know more restriction less power, is there a happy medium? I am considering adding one more of the Magnaflow strait through mufflers (6"dia), but this time buying a 2" in and out reducing my pipe size, providing a little more back pressure, in hopes of passing for an old broken pick-up truck.
