JDM 95 RX7: seat belt light won't come on
Can someone please tell me if your seat belt light comes on when you unbuckle your seat belt? I'm pretty sure it should like every other modern car, but for whatever reason my FD doesn't.
The light comes and stays on for like 2 seconds whenever I start the car, but it doesn't stay on at all.
This may seem like a small problem to worry about, but I need to register my car here in Japan and they check for this light. They'll ask you to unbuckle your seat belt and expect to see the red seat belt light come on--if it doesn't it's a fail!!!
Everything in the car works perfectly fine, no known electrical issues and checked all plugs, especialy the one under the seat, it has power when on, so it's not dead.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
