Hey guys, I have an 1987 FC RX-7, the guy before me had no clue what he was doing and butched everything up. The idiot even converted it to carberated for no aparent reason. I'm not sure if it was him or if it's a common problem but my oil pressure gauge goes off the the charts when the engine is being ran (it gradually goes up as you drive a long) and my water temp. gauge doesn't even work, I tried swaping out the temp. sensor but no dice.

 

I am still perplexed why people buy other people's problems!
If you don't think you can tackle the Stock gauge problem,I would just say "fugg it" and install some aftermarket gauges and sensors.
Water temp you can get from a hose adapter with a sensor on it,,Oil pressure and temp with an oil filter pedestal with bungs for the sensors.
