before everyone starts saying did you look around at other posts and yada yada yada...i have and didn't come up with anything....how ever it is very possible that i missed something

so heres the issue

last winter i put in a new clutch kit and rebuilt my engine as well as street port ( or i should say my mechanic did )

the car has been running fine until tonight, i drove to work as i always, i never push it in the morning as its a short drive ( 10 or so mins ) and theres no point. parked in the underground parking every thing was fine. i get to my car after my shift and start it. i noticed my exhaust sound was louder but chalked that up to being parked very close to the wall in a corner. about a 1/2 way home the whole thing just spontaneously died on me, i mean power engine the works then came back on!! after it came on it started to idle really high like about 2000 RPM and i had no radio or boost gauge lighting, when i got to a red light it idled bouncing up and down from 2000 to 2500 RPM. i got home safely and parked then turned it off. now when i try to turn it on again, i get lights ( radio and gauges ok ) as well as dash and the works, when i try and turn it over i get lights as i just said as well as a click from by my ABS box as well as by my battery ( im honestly not sure what is located in these two spots im assuming starter and relay? ) also my RAD fans come on. i will try it again in the morning but i have no clue what could be going on

and troubleshooting tips or help would be very very much appreciated
