Inital setup of FPR

So I just went to a single turbo and new fuel system. I haven't started the car yet. I've done some research and I want to set my FPR to around 40-42psi but how do I do this if the car isn't started? The FPR is new so o have no clue what it's set at. Do I just start the car and jump out real quick and adjust it? Ps this is a brand new rebuilt engine as well and my first time doing this so if this is a stupid question I'm sorry but k need help thanks guys

Your make and model along with the turbo, EMS/ECU and the fuel set up would be helpful including model of FPR, keep in mind SOME new rebuilds CAN be a chore to get started for the first time. I always like to have a few sets of eyes under the hood and someone in the car during the first start up process to check for leaks, issues, etc. Depending on engine, fuel(91,93,corn power?) and turbo set up your base fuel pressure could be 38-43.5?

Do you have a gauge on the FPR? To set base pressure, just jump the fuel pump from the diagnostic box and your gauge will show WOT pressure. Depend on what injectors you are running they have different pressure preference, stock injector is 38psi, EV14/ID is 43.5psi.
