Info wanted on Maximum / stock / compression Mazda specifications
I know i should know this as a engine builder, and i know what compression numbers i get on my engines but has anybody good reliable Mazda Specifications on new engines? or REMAN engines?
I tested a engine 6 times, tested my digital compression meter on several Rx-7's i have at the shop, also on engines i just tested a week ago.
So my meter is giving correct figures i guess.
This engine gives me 136,139,139 PSI on the front and 133,133,135 PSI on the rear
I know nothing of the engine or the car it is in, but it was supposed to be replaced 8000 Km's ago.
I get at most on my rebuild engines 127 PSI (new or perfect housings, new seals and springs, NO new irons, after 5000 Km's)
Yess I did the test at a warm engine, with the right procedure, if people wonder....
Any Mazda employee here on the board?
