I'm New, and I have a few questions.

Hey guys, my name is Jon and I am currently in the market for a 3rd gen RX-7 TT. I have been looking for about half a year now and I will be getting something within the upcoming winter months. I just registered here and I figured I would ask some stuff about the car and what not.

So here goes:

What are the problem areas of the car that I should be aware of when considering what car to purchase??
Is there anything I should look for in the test drive?
What do they do stock in the 1/4 mile?(I've looked around and can't seem to get a definitive answer on this)
How much boost is safe to run on stock internals?
How are the stock brakes? Are they good for just replacing the stock rotors with slotted rotors or does a big brake upgrade make the difference?? They are 4 piston stock correct??

That's it for now, I appreciate your time.

Jon
