Ignition Condenser

So I wired up my REPU from scratch using Adaptronic and IGN-1A direct fire coils. I'm curious though, is there a need for an ignition condenser anywhere in the system? I see them on factory harnesses but no mention of them on aftermarket harness diagrams.
