Unhappy idle problem...

Hi ive searched faq and all that and cant find the same idle problem i have.

It jumps from 1600-2000rpm when its cold and cold. when i turn on the light's the idle gets stable at 2000 rpm. The car is stock "just changed exhaust and air filter". The boost is perfect and the car starts perfect. 1994 R2 44000km.

Thanks in advance!

I have the same problem with my 88 non-turbo rx7.
Except it idles at 200 rpm and it just dies if I dont press on gas pedal.
If you figure out hope you can help out or if anyone can figure it out.

i have seen wet electrical plugs, like after cleaning the engine with simple green wet, cause this. if you washed the engine check the mas air plug ect (it can stay wet for months!) or a bad mas air flow sensor maybie?
