identify this turbo

ok..

lets see how this goes. Who knows what this turbo is. Crappy pictures entail.

According to the yahoo.jp jap-->engrish conversion its some sort of t45s/t51 hybrid.

Please shed some light on it for me! its either a garret or HKS.

it looks like a t78 kit but the welded pipeing dosen't look like a kit at all. so it's some hybrid

what im looking for is what it is... according to www.j-spec.com.au/list/1528

its a t45s/51 hybrid. but nobody can seem to answer what it is. i know the pics are bad.


ps. that hose going into the oil filter is japanese emmissions control lol

I honestly think you need to rethink your last statement, a welded elbow is guaranteed to flow better than 5 or 6 silicone adapters and hose clamps

everytime you have a joint with a gap thats covered by the hose, you create turbulence and drag, so that "ghetto rigged" as you call it probably flows a lot better than most of the contraptions I see floating around in the photos from the states.
