the Gen II SE's were made until '88 (i think) then they were replaced by the GTU models for '89.

as for the original question ... horsepower is not CHEAP, and besides, cheap is a relative term. what's your budget and what type of power gains are you looking for?

your exhaust was probably the biggest ace up your sleeve in terms of power gains. (by the way, what exhaust are you running?) most other mods will net you better engine response but not a hell-of-a lot of horsepower.
off the top of my head ...
- switching to the '89-'92 intake manifold (porting and matching) - check the Gen II forum for more details on this
- throttle body (porting)
- GSL-SE fuel injectors (not to add power, but to support it)
- Pineapple Racing port sleeves
- lightweight flywheel (does not add power, merely absorbs less power than stock)

by ditching your EFI and switching to a carbie you can get a decent bump - but i wouldn't recommend it, i'm merely mentioning that the option is there.

i'd say look into streetporting and see if you'd be interested in that

you took off your clutch fan? this means you have a E-fan? i hope you do have a fan of some kind for your radiator, also search on the throttle body mod doesnt add power but better throttle response

Come out to the St. Pete side of the Gandy bridge and hang out with us around 10PM. FAFracing is the only rotory club in Tampa/St. Pete and we would like to meet you and can give you some advice/help. If you can't make it then just PM me with your phone number and we can meet up sometime.

Weight reduction which is free HP. Take out your front and rear bumper supports, move battery to the back, get a header, ram air scoop to cold air box and u should be in the mid 15s or so.
