I need help

my car started doing Last sat. I was rolling up to a light and my car shut of then I started it up and it did it everytime I let it drop to where it would normally idle. It will start up right a way but it dies soon after it runs if you stay on the gas it doesnt build any boost. If you figure it out or if you have any suggestions let me know.
I bought the car (87 TII) last friday and this happend the following day late at night. I drove the car home from va to pa and it was fine despite starting hard. I checked all my vac lines and the intake pipes. could it be the injectors, because after i try to run it you can smell alot of gas and there seemed to be some gas ontop of the housing near the fuel rail
thanks

You could have a bad water thermo sensor (back of water pump). If its not working right, you car could be running super rich and cause the engine to die all the time.

You could also have leaking injectors.

If you see fuel on top of engine block,
you have to remedy the situation asap, since this is a major fire hazard.
2 possible causes:
-failure of upper o-rings on injectors
-failure of pulsation dampener
Again, this is a very dangerous situation. You should not drive the car around. if you do, make sure you carry fire extinguisher.

It still sounds like an intake leak.
Check the 5/8" hose under the BAC valve - this does NOT come clamped from the factory!&nbsp Clamp both sides!
