I need Boost controller advice
I want to upgrade my exhaust before winter to the Racing Beat full catback exhaust system that adds 59 HP to the Turbo II. But i need advice.
I don't want to buy to much this year so I want to keep my boost down to 7.5 psi, the exhaust system ups the stock turbo to 11-12 psi. I don't want to add larger injectors yet this season to compensate for higher boost, so I need to know a few things.
1. What is a good boost controller that will allow me to keep my boost at 7.5 no higher (I want to adjust to 15-20 later when I upgrade my turbo and injectors).
2. What is a good device for checking the lean/rich mixture levels.
3. How does a boost controller work? Does it cut off fuel? (I am new to turbo technicalities)
thanks

before we go any further, have you tried to use the search function at the top of the page? if so, from all of the TONS of info that it brings up, what is still giving you trouble? i will be more than willing to help, as long as you do a little research/ homework on your own first. try a few KEY words and you may be surprised what pops up. here i did one for you.
