i have a wierd coil problem

Ive looked for this same question but havent found it here goes. I have a 1987 mazda rx-7 baseline model 13b non turbo. I have 3 different leading and trailing coil packs cause i have 3 rx-7s all 87's now 2 of them dont run but im trying to get my 3rd one running and everything is done but my coils wont spark. Now i did notice that if i rub them on the car anywhere that can ground (atleast with the trailing packs) it sparks just by rubbing it however that seems unusual to me any suggestions on why it is doin this and how i can find where/why and if i do how to fix it?

Thanks in advance Kyle

Theres also a nice post somewhere on the forums with a picture and diagram guide on how to ground your car. Can anyone point me into that direction with a link? Cause im thinking i just need to reground the car. Also on another note that car had a small engine fire and ive replaced everything as follows, most of the wiring harness one full loom (the passenger side loom) the other side of the loom which was damaged i spliced from before the main fuse box to the whole front part of the car lights and stuff new, new oil cooler, new top part of the motor(intake manifold, oil injectors, fuel injectors, fuel lines, oil lines, the weird spider like metal fuel rail/vaccume line thing lol), changed the oil and filter, redid my clutch lines and slave/master cylinder, brake master cylinder, throttle cable, heater hose lines and radiator lines, replaced the main fuse box, some of it i bought new and some i replaced with spare parts incase that helps any.
