how to make tachometer?

wondering how to construct a bar type tachometer from scratch.. using 2nd gen ecu generated tach signal..

any ideas? links?

Dick Smith Electronics in Australia have bargraph tacho kits. The have 2 ranges that you can adjust to suit.
