How to make an RX8 Coil produce a spark?
I am trying to make a RX8 coil spark off the car. I believe the two outer pins are Positive and Negative and the centre is the trigger but it doesn't seem to matter how I power the centre I don't get a spark from the coil. (Yes the coil is a good one 
)
Do I need to add some electronics to fool the coil into thinking its getting a pulse from the ECU or is simply tapping a negative to the trigger not the right thing to do?
