How long would a rebuild motor last?

How long would a rebuild motor ( stock 2mm apex seal, no porting, nothing upgraded whatsoever) last under 400 rwhp and 15 psi of boost? The car have upgrade fuel system to support the horsepower so no problem w/ fuel but would the motor itself last or i should do a rebuild w/ 3mm apex seal and street port?

Stay away from 3mm seals and you should street port the motor....The motors life is dependent on how you drive the car and how often you change the oil etc..

first of all, there is no way a stock motor without any porting is going to approach anywhere near 400rwhp.

Second, even if you do have a nice porting job on the motor, reaching the 400RWHP on the stock twins is not an easy task. I've heard a few people have reached that point, but I haven't seen any for myself.

Your stock turbos will not last long at those HP levels, and I doubt your motor will either., simply because you're pushing everything beyond their efficiency/safety limits.

But if you've already spent the time to dyno tune with a wide lambda and your A/F is nice and safe in the 11s, your cooling is taken care of, and you're not running 14/15psi on pump gas, then *theoretically*, a rebuilt motor with new housings, seals, should last as long as an original motor.

oh my bad. It have single turbo, fuel system, FMIC, Apexi PFC...etc but stock apex seal and no porting. I just want to know how long will a stock rebuild motor last under 15psi of boost (on straight 100 octane) w/o stronger thicker apex seal and stuff. Or i should make it run rich at 12psi all the time to be on the safe side? The owner said 12 psi is no problem on stock rebuild motor which i believe him but i want to know if i want to run 15psi, should i change apex seal and do a porting for better oil, coolant flow and more hp? OR stock motor cant handle 15psi, period?
