How do you install a 2nd gen coil with igniter to a 3rd gen?

How do you install a 2nd gen coil with igniter to a 3rd gen?
My coil went bad so I found a 2nd gen coil which are supposed to be better that the 3rd gen coils and I was wondering if any body new how to wire this thing or direct me to somebody that does. Thanks.
