RE....I'll commit to a deposit as soon as my motor gets packed on our shipment. I request a rebuild in Jan as stated before. Should be by the 17th of December for the shipment.

ok, just keep me updated. the seals or any other parts provided will be discounted from the overall price.

the parts look fine sean but make sure you check them all with a straightedge before committing to them. run a straightedge perpendicular to the rotor housings, you shouldn't be able to fit a feeler gauge in on the wear surface with the exception of probably step wear from the corner boot where it rode.

Filing the rotor tips?

GoodFella's-"A properly clearanced and built 13B-REW making 400+ rwhp will rev to 8000 rpm all day long. "

Even with out of spec parts that most would throw in the scrap pile it was running well, until that line came off. I have my limiter at9100 rpm and generally shift around 8500. These are very capable engines. I am pretty sure the contact happened when it was spitting and sputering while keeping the throttle pinned.

Karack- I will bevel these edges, I had some time to look over the irons and can see where the side seals are hitting the intake ports.

I started re-working the housings as well and they aren't as bad as I originally thought. Going to give them another run.

Rotors are done, anyone reading this have a set they wana come off, let me know.

So has anyone else broken a Ra super seal??
Not sure your HP, but we are cutting/sanding the rotors in some crazy ways. Trying to reach 800rwhp and things get crazy. (with out spending a fortune) Goal is 40 + psi though a S480

You can fill the rotor tips more with out issues but if you eliminate the detonation you should not have the issue of the rotor hitting the housing.

Nice work on the porting and cleaning up of the housing and plates.
