hold light flashing - auto FD

okay, I've had my 93 auto FD for a little while now, it runs fine, turbos good, compression good (recently checked at RP in Garland, TX), transmission good. WHen I first got it the yellow hold light was blinking on and off on the bottom of the speedometer gauge. I called RP when I bought it and they said it would be fine, just check it when I made it back to Dallas. At the compression check, I asked again, and was told that they weren't really sure, but not to worry since everything was in running order. ANyone know why it is doing this? I have the original engine with about 75K miles, no mods installed yet.

check your ecu and see if there is a power fc in the car which would be great, if not disconnect the negative battery cable and push the brake pedal of about 30 sec.
this will re-set the stock ecu.

Check your owner's manual. Flashing lights are usually trying to tell you something.
