Lightbulb High revvig rotaries.

Hello, everybody.

I have a question. It may be quite stupid, but still... The thing, i wanted to know is how high up can you rev stock 13B-MSP. N/A one. Also, what modifications, except better oil pump do you need to do to be able to make your rotary engine high revving, yet being reliable.

Sorry for mistakes, btw. Not native speaker. Hope, that you at least understood what i meant

i think its fine up to 8300rpm, stock fuel cut is up there.

if you had an early engine you might raise the oil pressure with the FD regulator, other than that i think its good to go

I have zero oiling issues using a 12A oil pump. I like the smaller pumps because they do not cavitate as much at higher RPM.

My oil passages are extensively ported to reduce pumping losses, and my eccentric shaft has lead-in and lead-out grooves.

Sorry, i must have formulated my question wrongly. So... What i meant is how high are you able to rev it up without rev limiter, without losing much reliability.

Umm, my wifes rx8 revs to 9500 all the time while she is autocrossing.
not sure where the 8300 number came from, there is 100% not a fuel cut there.
he did specify the msp engine?
