HHO/BROWN GAS on rx7? save gas?!?!?!

HHO/BROWN GAS on rx7? save gas?!?!?!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

has anybody put an HHO system on their rx7? im going to utah for formula d qualifyer and gas is expensive! im rigging up a system soon hopefully ill have it connected by next week.

my plans for the roadtrip...

disconnect my wastegate so i make no boost, lean out the motor as much as i can ( safc, plxr500 w/b,egt,knock), run some stock wheels and tires, and run an HHO system.

anybody suggest a safe air fuel ratio to tune my car to for gas economy? s4 turbo motor

im thinking ill get 30 mpg, hopefully more.

lean your motor out = will still burn the same amount of fuel, but high EGT's will destroy things.

you won't make boost if you don't use the go pedal.

and you'll never make 30mpg without an EMS and driving only 60mph. And even then you probably still won't make it.

i do it every day around the city on an old school safc. i baby the hell out of the thing tho. NEVER EVER BOOST. shift at like 2k dont give exsessive load at low rpm. you should be able to do it as long at you have a wide band to monitor it.

EGT is far more important that a wideband.

Don't bother with one of those HHO generators. As other threads on this forum have said, they're worthless. Even if the tiny volume of gas they make was signifigant compared to the amount of normal air the engine sucks in, burning the gas will still generate less energy than the alternator used to make it from water.
