Help!!! it won't stay on...
Well I just put in good clean injectors (rebuilt by RC engineering) I did this because my car (1987 turbo II) flooded everytime I turned it off. So I took everything apart put in the good injectors ( I had a hell of a time with the vacuum lines but eventually put them on correctly, thanks to Hailers)
I finished putting everything back together and started it. it smoked a little (proly cause I haven't started it in a 2 weeks). I let it warm up and after it was warmed up it was idling rough. The RPMS's surged from 1000 to 300.
I then Adjusted the BAC and it Idled normaly. I took it out for a spin and it started to idle roughly again.
The car ran great under 3000 rpm but when taking it to higer rpms it started to sputter like it didn't want to go faster (I'm would it has somthing to do with the secondary injectors but I just put in those rebuilt injectors). Afew blocks more of driving, I came to a stop sign and the car idled down and shut off. I couldn't get it started again (It seemed like the car had flooded).
After a few hours I tried to start it again and it started but wouldn't stay on unless I had my foot on the gas.
Sorry for the long post, I just wanted cover everything so troubleshooting wouldn't be soo hard.
Any thoughts? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Asghar

Hi,
It could be a number of things. Check out the ignition system, your mass air flow could just about ready to crap out or you got a hold of some nasty injectors.
Sorry that is all I can think of.

Well the car starts fine and runs fine when your giving it gas so it can't be the ignition system and all the injectors were rebuilt by RC ENGINEERING a couple days ago, so it can't be that. I don't know about the mass air flow... does that cause you to idle rough, enough to make the car turn off??

well it can be the coils, but prob. isn't i'd check them anyway just to be sure. is sounds like you have a vacuum leak some where. go over everything again and see if you can find it
