HELP: Need Facts About Apex Seals
I would like to know if it's true that the apex seals from rotaryaviation.com wear out rotor housings faster than apex seals from atkinsrotary.com. I've heard that the best and safest way to go is OEM, but those cost me my whole wallet if you know what I mean, haha. It seems as though rotaryaviation.com has them up for the cheapest price and I've never heard complaints, but then again if they're harder than other apex seals, then I guess it could be true that they wear out rotor housings faster. Can anyone give me any facts please? Thanks beforehand for everything....

aviation-good for high boost, if they blow kiss that housing good bye and rotor also and yes they do put some wear the housings
atkins-great seal i use them in all the motors i build, soft for break in when they blow they dont **** your housing, and i think they are actually cheaper
oem- not good period they mess up the rotors from knocking the groves open over time because they are 3 piece, when they blow you might as well throw a hand grenade in to you motor.
but on the other hand with a good tune you shouldnt have to worry about it
