ON help id a part (gsl-se)

Can someone please tell me what is the metal rod in the picture? I checked the FSM but there were no decent illustrations of that area.

I have a feeling that it's related to the OMP, but not sure.

By the way, this is my first day with the car, so go easy on me I was playing around with the throttle and may have moved this accidentally.

Omp linkage.
hooks up to the oil metering pump that is below, passenger side engine.
When you move the throttle the linkage in turn operates the Omp.
