Exclamation Help! Engine Trouble!

Hey, I am haveing a slight problem with my car. I bought my 5th RX-7 about a year ago, a 1990 GXL 2+2 in really good shape with about 100,000, and the car had idle problems. I drove it for about 3 months when one day I noticed I was low on fuel, the check engine light came on an the car would not excelerate. So, I thought that I was running out of fuel, I made it to the gas station. I started the car and everything was fine, so I drove down the road for about 10 miles when the check engine light came on again and I could not excelerate. So I thought that I needed to check out the fuel pump, I took the pump out and saw a little rust in the bottom of the fuel tank. I cleaned the tank out and replaced the fuel pump and filter with a high performance system. I drove the car again it was still doing the check engine crap . So, I thought would clean the engine I took the the engine apart cleaned, injecters, manifold, throttlebody, ports, and etc... replaced all intake gasket and most of vacuum hoses too. When I had it apart I also noticed one of the ports was not working at all, because of one of the rods that connects to the sleeve was broken. So, I fixed everything the ran better, but the check engine light still is coming on. I came down to the conclusion that the problem is eletrical, because when I start the engine(cold) I can drive for about 15 minutes before the check engine light comes on. So, I turn the car off an start it back up an the check engine light is off. Now that the engine is warm, I can only drive 10 minutes at a time before I have to turn the car on an off. I have alot of knowledge for rotary and I do all my own work on cars. So, if anyone could please help me out. I am so confused right now.

it could be the electric oil metering pump. if it goes bad it can make some weird **** happen. it's called "limp or home" mode if it goes bad and it will barely run. do you know how to check the engine codes? if you do that will tell you exactly what's wrong with it. go to www.iluvmyrx7.com and check out or download a factory service manual and that will explain how to check ecu codes.

Thanks Reman! I will take a look into it to see whats going on with the codes. I checked the codes a while back and I think it did say something about OMP. I broke a line trying to clean the motor so, I went and bought some fuel line and fixed the lines. The line was rated for about 180 degrees and 120 psi I think. If it is the OMP, what could I do to fix it? I was thinking about taking the stupid pump out and start pre-mixing the fuel an oil.
