HELP! Is the 2 color wire pos or neg on fuel pump

Greetings,
I have been sorting through a recently acquired 1984 13B GSL-SE, which sat for about 6 years. In replacing the electric fuel pump, I got the 2 wires mixed up, and now am not sure which is the power wire and which is the ground. One wire is a 2 color wire, and the other is solid. Which wire is positive?
Reason for asking is that the battery ground is 2 color! Thank you in advance for your help!
Tim

My son was able to find a wiring diagram, and confirmed that the 2 wire is the positive, and the single color (turns out it is a black wire!) is the negative. Fortunately, that is how I have connected it. The 2 color ground on the battery is what threw me off. Hope this will help someone else along the way!

i was about to say, wiring diagrams and manuals can be found on the foxed.ca site. also, get urself a test light. fairly inexpensive and simple to use to find what wire has power.
