I was meaning to post this a while ago. Do all RX7 generations have heating problem or it most of the 3rd gens? I was just wondering.

it actually has 2 possible heating problems.... the engine overheating in the summer and the heater not getting hot enough when it's cold in the winter.

If your talking about not getting any hot air from the heater, then did you try the floor and windshield vents? The heat is only designed to come from the floor vents and windshield defrosters. Cold air only comes out the face vents and crotch vent under the steering wheel.

Both of my 1st-gens will blow hot air from the dash vents.

Heating problems are common on any older vehicle, what I like to do is take the heater hoses off and spray a garden hose backwards through the heater core. (spray in to the outlet) This backflushing will remove an incredible amount of crud and heating is usually substantially improved.
