Header mounting question

Well I just got some pacesetter headers for my 12a. I know I know but they were only $130 so i figured I'd give em a shot. Anyway I got them in a couple days ago and they dont have a flange for bolt on mounting, but they did come with an exhaust U clamp. Do I need to get a flange and weld it onto them or can I get away with cranking that U clamp on there to hold them together? Sorry if any of this sounds like stupid questions, but this is my first time with exhaust modification. I do plan to throw a resonated car delete pipe in there behind the headers just to quiet it down.

hope ur talking bout where the header connects to the rest of the exhaust. the clamp will work for now til u bet it all done and can take it to a muffler shop to be welded up. but i'd have them flange it to make it easier to take apart if u ever need to.
