Hawker Odyssey?

Hi all,

I am relocating my battery to the spare tire well in my FB. I have narrowed the battery selection down to the Hawker Odyssey series. Either the PC625, PC680 or the PC925. The PC625 is the lightest of the bunch, and therefore draws me like a magnet.

Question: Will the PC625 be adequate for longevity of charge? It has better cranking power all around than the PC680 that I see a lot of people are using. The only shortcomings I can see are the reserve capacity is 1 minute less, and it uses brass studs instead of the maintenance free copper studs. It's even another 2 lbs. lighter than the PC680.

The PC925 looks to be more than adequate, but it also weighs twice as much as the PC625 (13.2 lbs!), and is almost twice as big.

Thanks for any input.

Basically, trickle charging is not an issue with me, but less maintainance is alway s better, especially on a car that has a high maintainance potential already.

Opinions on any Hawker battery?

Okay then...

Does anyone have any reasons for why they bought a particular Hawker battery? I see that the 680 and the 925 seem to be popular. Why? Why not the 625?

THanks all.

Never mind I guess. I will get a PC625 and take my chances...

Thanks for playing.
